Local Travel - Victoria, BC

Spent a lovely weekend in Victoria, BC recently. Even with my swollen ankle, I was able to do a lot of walking. Partially due to my ankle though - we kept to just a few spots and didn't do as much free range wandering as we generally do. For those who don't know, I twisted my ankle pretty badly at work. I wasn't doing anything amazing - no knife fight or rescue of a baby from a burning building - just tripped on something invisible while going from one office to another.

So, I took the BC trip pretty slow - strolling through the Victoria Butterfly Gardens, the Botanical Gardens, and down by the harbor to see the seals and the otters. By the way, otters are adorable but vicious creatures. The ones at the harbor seemed especially aggressive and territorial. Super cute...but also super dangerous.

Corgi Glory

Scenes from Pye's life - lots of dog parks, doggo friends, camping, and car trips. I lead a monthly meetup for corgis so many of the pictures are from those events. Enjoy the corgi-luv!

Spring Scenes

It is the tail end of spring in Seattle. The plants are up and alive - and while the daffodils are already gone, the roses have yet to open. There was a sun-bow yesterday and a few rainbows all around - bringing color to the grey skies.
